Online learning

Learn on your terms! Online courses are great for those who can’t come to campus to learn, for those that need the flexibility to balance their busy lives, for those that just learn better online.

Georgian has many online options – programs, courses that meet program requirements as well as individual professional development courses.

Flexible learning: Equivalencies

OntarioLearn: A platform for online course equivalencies

Georgian’s OntarioLearn collaborates with 24 other Ontario colleges to deliver online programs and courses. This partnership allows us to offer many course equivalencies for Georgian programs.

We are proud of how many online course equivalencies we are able to offer because of our collaboration with other Ontario colleges in the OntarioLearn consortium.

You can access an OntarioLearn instructor-led course 24/7 and don’t require extra equipment or software. Many courses offer additional intake dates including fall, winter and summer. This fantastic partnership offers access to online courses that aren’t available at the college (while still remaining a Georgian student).

Jenny Wilcox, Manager of Part-time Studies
We have several programs you can complete entirely online. Online learning allows you flexibility and convenience; you can participate in online classes from wherever you like at a time that is convenient for you. It allows you to work full-time and study around your work schedule. Studying online means you don’t have to commute to class – no more worrying about that snowstorm on the radar! Studying online requires self-motivation, discipline and time management skills – all great skills you can use when applying for that new job! Jenny Wilcox, Manager of Part-time Studies
