My fellow graduates,

I am delighted to share that as Georgian prepares to begin the fall semester this week, our Alumni Executive Council is also preparing for an exciting year ahead. The council will come together to host the first virtual meeting of the 2021-22 year on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Prior to the summer break, we thanked six outgoing council members for their service to Georgian, and on Sept. 21 will welcome five new alumni to the council. These members bring diverse backgrounds and lived experiences to the conversation, and represent program areas from across the college.

In the meantime, and as classes prepare to resume at Georgian, I want to remind everyone about the safety measures that have been implemented at Georgian, and invite you to visit the college website to learn more. I wish each of you, and your families, a safe and healthy start to a new school year.

Stay well,
