Help create a safe space free from sexual violence
Sept. 23, 2015

We all have a right to study and work in an environment free from sexual violence.
Did you know Georgian has a Sexual Violence Procedure and Protocol? We’re committed to preventing sexual violence and making sure our community is a safe, supportive space for survivors.
All survivors have a right to
- Be believed
- Be treated with respect
- Be informed
- Be protected
- Be heard
- Be supported
If you’ve experienced sexual violence, we encourage you to
- Go to a safe place
- Get medical attention
- Seek support and counselling
- Report the incident
As a support person, you can
- Listen with respect and compassion
- Accept the disclosure as truth
- Don’t judge – validate
