Student and Learning Services temporary relocation: What you need to know

At Georgian, we know how important it is to have a strong support network in college. That’s why we provide a variety of student and learning services to help you succeed from application to graduation. Building connections and getting help when you need it most begins in accessible, open and friendly spaces.

If you’ve used our student services, you may be aware that some of their offices have temporarily relocated due to renovations in B building (Founders Building) at the Barrie Campus.

Which student services are moving, when and where?

The following services will be temporarily relocated to the ground floor of the library at the Barrie Campus (K building):

These services have relocated as of Sept. 5, 2023.

Please note that the Career Hub has also been moved to M building (M204) at the Barrie Campus on the second floor in the Weber Foundation Learning Commons area.

Booking appointments and accessing these services – whether in person or remotely – will remain the same for all students from all campuses during the moving process. Current students can visit MyGCLife.ca and search for these services to book appointments. You can also stop by the customer service desk in the library—we can help connect you!

Will B building still be accessible?

For the near future, B building will continue to be accessible as normal as we start pre-construction activity. We’ll communicate closures in B building once they are scheduled.
