How to make the perfect snow angel

Making a snow angel is a totally Canadian thing to do every winter. Here are some tips to create the perfect one:

  1. Look for a big patch of undisturbed snow. Fresh powder – usually after a big snowstorm – works much better than hard-packed snow.
  2. Carefully fall backward with your arms outstretched; try to land in a T position.
  3. Move your arms and legs like you’re doing jumping jacks (arms above your head and back down to your sides, legs out and then back).
  4. Gently press your head into the snow to make an indentation for the snow angel’s head.
  5. Get up slowly; try not to ruin your amazing creation.
  6. Take a moment to admire your hard work.
