Here’s some advice from Georgian’s Well-Being Committee:

1. Spend time with people who feed your soul. Notice who depletes your energy and who replenishes it.
2. Book space in your calendar for activities that bring you joy – whether engaging in a hobby or working on a passion project.
3. Go outside. Sunshine or a walk through the trees will do your mind and body good.
4. Create meaningful rituals — small things you can do to feel good every day.
5. Start a good vibes file — a physical or online place where you can keep nice notes people write, things you’re proud of, or inspirational quotes you can read when feeling down.
6. Laugh more — be a goof. Engage in at least 20 minutes of play every day.
7. Have a nap. Take 10 or 20 minutes to reset.
8. Do a social media dump. Hide, delete or unfollow negative content and people.
9. Turn up the tunes and dance in the kitchen, in the hallway, wherever. Just move.
10. Do something today your tomorrow self will thank you for, e.g., knock something off your to-do list you’ve been avoiding.
11. Trust yourself. Listen to your gut more when making decisions, large or small.
12. Approach mindless activities more mindfully. Try being fully present when doing everyday tasks like brushing your teeth or pouring a cup of tea.
13. Be kind to yourself. Mistakes and regrets are opportunities to learn.
