Dr. Beca comes to Georgian from Sheridan College, where she served as the Associate Dean for the Applied Health portfolio since 2016. She is passionate about finding new ways to bring faculty, students, and community partners together, across different disciplines, to create opportunities for learning, collaboration and research focused on innovative solutions to community health and wellness, health equity, chronic diseases prevention and management.

I’m thrilled and honoured to join Georgian College, globally recognized for cutting-edge curriculum, state-of-the-art simulation labs, and quality experiential learning opportunities. Georgian’s Ashoka U changemaking college designation, its focus on innovation, and wonderful community of faculty, staff, and students make it truly an anchor institution for Central Ontario.
