Fall 2021 semester update: remote and hybrid delivery
April 15, 2021
During these uncertain times, we aim to provide you with as much certainty as we can. We’re prepared to deliver the fall semester programs, starting on September 7, with fully remote where possible and hybrid delivery, a combination of remote and in-person where required to meet the learning outcomes.
Students and applicants can now use our online searchable chart to look up programs that will be delivered either fully remotely or will have in-person, on-campus components. This chart will be updated to the course level before the end of May, so returning and new students have plenty of time to plan for September.
Georgian’s health and safety protocols will continue to serve us well and keep us safe. We’ll eventually transition to increased in-person academic and service delivery as public health and government guidelines allow. In response to the feedback from many of our current students who have come to appreciate and even prefer the remote delivery of programs and services, we also plan to continue to provide the flexibility of virtual program delivery and student services where possible.
Support for students
For the fall semester, Georgian will continue to offer our COVID-19 Hardship Bursary to support students with financial need and our Georgian Learning Guarantee. Learn more on our fall 2021 web page.
Further updates on fall semester and any health and safety procedures will be provided to students throughout the summer. Stay updated by visiting our COVID-19 updates page, checking your Georgian email, and by following Georgian on social media.
