Daniel Clements: Tis the season of festivals, fairs and food

The end of summer is in sight and for Chef Technologist Daniel Clements, August is a busy month. A few family barbecues, a couple of birthdays and the end of our summer semester at Georgian all come together to remind me that this is the twilight of yet another summer.

In his recent food column, Daniel recalls fond memories from his childhood about local festivals. He remembers all the sights and intoxicating smells of his first harvest festival – the scent of popcorn lingering with the sultry aroma of deep-fried goodies.
