A Holiday Greeting from the Conference Services Team

Well, dear readers, it’s the end of another year here at Georgian Conference and Event Services, and what a year it’s been!

This year our department worked with 203 different events on campus, ranging from training sessions to trade shows, board meetings to basketball camps. We welcomed 53 new external events and had the pleasure of working with 52 repeat external clients. We also enjoyed supporting 98 internal Georgian events. Each group brought new and exciting opportunities and challenges for our team.

This year we also welcomed Miranda Rawn, the newest member of our Conference and Event Services team. She’s taken our department by storm with her positive energy and exuberance and we couldn’t be happier to have her.

With the wide array of events under our belts, we asked the team to pick just one event each that really stuck out to them for 2019. Here’s what they had to say:

We’d like to thank our clients and suppliers for another amazing year of events. The office will be closing today, December 20, at 11:30 a.m. and reopening at 8:30 a.m. on January 6, 2020.

As some of your may know, our department is part of a larger department here at the college, Advancement and Alumni Relations. This group of people does the good work of raising money for awards and scholarships for our students.
