Meet Samiksha!

Samiksha from Gwalior, India  is an alumna of the Graphic Design Production program.

She chose Georgian for its nationally-recognized program and for the diverse culture. Now, she works at a design firm in Toronto where she can use and grow her skills.

Samiksha enjoys participating in lots of different activities as she believes it’s the best way to learn about different cultures and meet new people. While at Georgian, she worked as a Peer Mentor co-ordinator in the First Year Experience office, as a graphic designer in GCSA, and as a freelance graphic designer for Growing Georgian.

In addition to participating in college activities, she also volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) designing promotional materials for their upcoming events. Volunteering for CCS makes her feel good and gives her mental peace as she dedicates some time to the community.
