Orientation arrives Sept. 6

OrientationAll seven Georgian campuses celebrate the start of the school year with Orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 6 – while there will be no classes that day, there will be lots of fun and informative events to transition new students to the college.

Welcome back/first day of classes is Wednesday, Sept. 7 for all students at all campuses.

“Whether you’re a mature student, directly out of high school, transferring schools, coming from another country, or whatever your situation, this is your chance to connect with Georgian,” says Terri Edmonstone, Orientation and Transition Co-ordinator. “Students will get to know the faces of Georgian, hear from the president, deans, and more.”

Orientation will highlight student clubs and associations, on-campus jobs and volunteer work, as well as student services, such as tutoring and counselling. There will also be fun, student-oriented activities at all campuses.
