Germs are mean – keep your hands clean
Jan. 25, 2017
It’s easy to do your part in stopping the spread of colds and flu this winter. Remember to wash your hands:
-
before and after eating and/or preparing food
-
after using the washroom, coughing or sneezing, using a tissue to wipe your nose, changing diapers and handling pets
-
when your hands are dirty
-
when you or someone you come into contact with is sick
-
after using cleaners or disinfectants
Read an article on hand hygiene or view a tip sheet – both prepared by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
