Georgian College Students’ Association recognized for supporting students in need through Food Locker program

The Georgian College Students’ Association’s (GCSA) Food Locker program was awarded the Best School Program on Aug. 23 as part of the 2019 Simcoe County Food & Agriculture Charter Champion Awards.

This award not only acknowledges the work GCSA has done to support students in need, but also serves as an acknowledgement of the incredible network of support the Food Locker has within Georgian and greater college community.

GCSA extends a thank you to all staff, students, faculty and community members who have helped the Georgian Food Locker achieve its mission to provide temporary relief to students who require food assistance while providing opportunities for food security education.
