Be here now – mindfulness at Georgian

Mindfulness sessions will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 4:50 p.m. in the Athletic Centre, Barrie Campus. Through a number of activities, participants will learn in a safe, gradual way how to respond (not react) to the habits of our mind.

Mindfulness is a proven practice that reduces anxiety and stress. Participants may bring their own mat and wear comfortable clothes.

You can also join Mindfulness Meditation Walks Wednesdays at 1 p.m. Meet in the foyer of the Athletic Centre, rain or shine.
