Students learn what it takes to be an ultrapreneur

A smiling young man makes holds his hands up. Ultrapreneur, learn, network, succeed.

The Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre (HBEC) hosted Ultrapreneur at the Barrie Campus last week with more than 70 students from a variety of academic backgrounds in attendance. Thanks to TEC – The Executive Committee – some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs came to share their successes and talk about hurdles they overcame along the way. HBEC mentor Chris Adams facilitated an engaging panel.

Entrepreneurs included:

  • Peter Buchanan – Chair of TEC Canada. He’s spent in excess of 20,000 hours coaching and mentoring hundreds of senior executives, business owners, CEOs and presidents
  • Bruce Buchan – CEO of CleanRiver Smart Recycling Solutions and Equipment
  • David Auld – founder of ChannelAssist Inc.
  • Giovanni Marcelli – founder of Accubid Systems and Chairman of Northern Transformer
  • Garson Hoffman, CEO of the Creative Planogram Company
