Georgian gives the gift of reading

Georgian’s Early Childhood Education program held a Scholastic book fair at the Orillia Campus with the goal of raising enough funds to give away 50 children’s books to our community partners in celebration of Georgian’s 50th anniversary.

The fair was such a success that extra books were sent out with students on placements with stickers inside that read, “The gift of reading provided by the Early Childhood Education program.”

“We thank everyone who supported our efforts to make this event such a grand success!” says Heather Hill, program co-ordinator.
