A Strut Through the Ages for two good causes

Strut through the Ages logoStudents in Georgian’s Event Management program are celebrating Georgian College’s 50th anniversary by hosting a retro fashion show – A Strut Through the Ages – during an actual #throwbackthursday.

As models show off fashions from the ’60s to the ’00s, there will also be live music, fun retro trivia, an on-site Candy Bar, raffle and professional photo booth.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and youth 12 to 18. Purchase tickets online or at the door.

Location: Lion’s Gate Banquet Centre (Barrie).

Proceeds will go to Cody’s House, a local youth mental health charity, and the Georgian College Scholarship Fund.
