Upgrading can lead to life-changing experience

After completing her upgrading, Amanda Folkes decided to continue her studies in the Social Service Worker program.
Academic and Career Preparation learner Amanda Folkes is excited to be moving on to the Social Service Worker program at Georgian in the fall.
Amanda completed her upgrading by earning an Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificate, which is recognized as an equivalent to a Grade 12 diploma by all Ontario colleges and by many employers.
Returning to school has been a life-changing experience.
“I soon found my passion for helping people,” Amanda says.
She looks forward to growing as a person and thanks everyone who helped her on her journey.
