College isn’t all about being in the classroom. Studying at the Owen Sound Campus? Fall is one of the best times of the year to get out and explore your surroundings!
- Explore the art of one of Canada’s iconic painters at the Tom Thomson Art Gallery.
- Check out one of the many beautiful waterfalls in the area, like Inglis Falls or Jones Falls.
- Head over to Harrison Park and rent a boat or walk through the bird sanctuary.
- Take the Chi-Cheemaun ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island.
- Grab your camera and get a birds-eye view of the area from one of many scenic lookouts along the Niagara Escarpment.
- Explore some of the local history by going on a walking tour.
- Hike the Bruce Trail or any of the other great trails in the area.
- Watch the fish climb up the Thornbury Fish Ladder.
- Buy some local apples at Grandma Lambes in Owen Sound or head over to the Meadford location for some yummy buttertarts.
