New one of a kind partnership with McDonald’s – and Georgian is lovin’ it

As part of a groundbreaking partnership, Georgian College has joined colleges from across Ontario to help accelerate the success of McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada employees. An agreement was signed earlier this month granting McDonald’s employees who have completed the Management Development Program Level 2 (MDP) eligibility to complete a two-year Ontario college business diploma – in as little as one year.

“We are delighted to be part of this agreement, which will benefit both the education and hospitality sector,” says MaryLynn West-Moynes, Georgian College President and CEO. “Our Business diploma program is offered full-time, part-time, in-class or online – for students’ convenience and to help accommodate their work-life schedules.”

Georgian will grant recognition for first-year business credit into its Business diploma or Business (co-op) diploma program to McDonald’s Second Assistant Managers, with some additional requirements.
