Interior Design grad Cassandra Nordell-MacLean continues to garner attention in the business world. The 2015 Premier’s Award nominee was recently placed on the W100 list of Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs by the PROFIT organization and Canadian Business magazine.
Cassandra has earned recognition for leading one of Canada’s top new growth companies, William Standen Co. She has received business leadership, entrepreneurial and design awards and was named one of the Top 30 Under 30 in North America by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Her work has been featured on HGTV Canada, as well as by a number of magazines and publications. She also writes a regular design and renovation column and travels North America to speak at industry events.
Cassandra says her time at Georgian was well spent:
“I am such an advocate of Georgian. The blend of practical, professional and creative courses helped define the designer that I am today – and gave me clear, job-related skills . . . Overall, the college helped get me out of my shell, believe in my creative talent, develop my drive for growth, and throw myself out into the world.”
