Georgian honoured at Business Achievement Awards

Georgian President Mary Lynn West-Moynes stands at a podium while the audience looks on.The Orillia District Chamber of Commerce recognized a number of organizations – including Georgian – at its annual Business Achievement Awards on Feb. 26.

President and CEO MaryLynn West-Moynes accepted the Strengthening Our Community Award on behalf of the college’s Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. To date, the centre has housed 69 projects involving more than 140 students from four different programs and positively impacting 1,900 community members.
