Georgian celebrates five fabulous foodies

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is Nov. 19. Here are five talented female business owners who’ve received support from Georgian’s Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre and are thriving in the community:

Amy De Wolfe

Owner and head foodie at Renegade Health Bar (51 Collier St., Barrie). Believes healthy food can be crave-worthy. Provides take home and on-the-go selections. Uses fresh and local ingredients. Known for mouthwatering vegan tapas (tacos, pizza, spring rolls, sushi, etc.), creamy roasted garlic and cauliflower soup. Makes delicious Keto entrées, desserts and baked goods. Loves to give back.

Christy Deere

Owner of Collingwood Kombucha Company (65 Simcoe St.) – a craft microbrewery of fermented tea products that are good for you and taste great. Has been drinking strange concoctions and putting drops of herbal medicines under her tongue since a child. Inspired by her grandmother who was cured of Lupus using Chinese and herbal medicine.
