Georgian celebrates Earth Day

More than 100 people braved the cold and sleet to tidy up the college’s Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound and Midland campuses on Earth Day.
At the Barrie Campus, over 20 bags of trash were collected.
Georgian is a sustainability leader and has been named one of Canada’s greenest employers five times. The college embeds sustainability practices in its curriculum, purchasing processes and waste management systems.
