Federal election: Meet the candidates for Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte

Georgian is a non-partisan educational institute that encourages voter participation and education. As such, Georgian wants to provide its students, staff and faculty with the opportunity to meet local candidates running in municipal, provincial or federal elections, and to better understand each party’s platform.
Candidates will be set up outside the library at the Barrie Campus on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Conservative Party
- Thursday, Oct. 3, 1 to 4 p.m. – Green Party
- Friday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m. to noon – People Party of Canada
- Thursday, Oct. 10, 9 a.m. to noon – Liberal Party
- Friday, Oct. 11, 9 a.m. to noon – NDP
