Interested in learning a trade, but don’t know where to start?
Georgian College’s Muskoka Campus in Bracebridge can help. The campus is offering a three-part TEST-A-TRADE series in carpentry, plumbing and electrical running Saturday, Nov. 16, 23 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Participants can get hands-on experience working on projects in a state-of-the-art shop space and learn about pathways to other skilled trades programs,” says Mac Greaves, Associate Dean, Muskoka Campus. “They’ll also have the opportunity to learn from highly skilled professionals excited about their industries.”
The cost to participate is $50 for all three sessions.
