Electrical Engineering Technology now offers faster route to CET designation
March 17, 2015
Graduates of Georgian’s Electrical Engineering Technology program now have even more career options available to them.
Electrical Engineering Technology is now accredited by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and by similar organizations in Quebec, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. This accreditation allows Georgian graduates to speed up the process of earning their Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation – which can give them a significant edge in their career.
“This is a very significant achievement,” said Dan Brooks, Associate Dean, Schools of Engineering Technology and Environmental Studies at Georgian. “The auditors from OACETT were particularly complimentary of our curriculum, faculty, facilities and industry relationships.”
