Duckworth St. in Barrie to be closed all weekend

Work continues on the Highway 400/Duckworth St. interchange in Barrie. Duckworth St. will be closed to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians in both directions at the Highway 400 bridge from Friday, Sept. 18 at 10 p.m. to Monday, Sept. 21 at 5 a.m.

The road closure is required for demolition of the existing Highway 400 northbound bridge.

Cundles Road, Bell Farm Road and St. Vincent St. will be used as the detour route. The interchange ramps will remain open with the exception of the Duckworth St. westbound ramp to the southbound Highway 400 ramp. Southbound Highway 400 can be accessed from Bayfield St. or from Cundles Road East.
