Daniel Clements: There’s nothing like a freshly picked strawberry

Georgian College culinary students recently visited Berry Hill Farms as part of its unique Field to Fork Discovery Tour.

In his recent food column, Chef Technologist Daniel Clements talks about his love of strawberries and how they have a special place in his collection of food memories. From watching his grandmother gathering wild Muskoka strawberries to make a table full of jam to sharing his son’s first taste of the sweet summer berries in the field. These little bits of happy come to the front of his mind this time of the year.
