Construction may impact travel to and from Barrie Campus

Ongoing construction on the Highway 400 improvement project may continue to impact travel to and from the Barrie Campus this semester.

Of note:

  • The new sidewalk on the west side of Duckworth St. between Bell Farm Rd. and the highway on/off ramps (Georgian Dr.) will be poured within the next few days
  • Pedestrian sidewalks on the east side of Duckworth between the college entrance (Bell Farm Rd.) and Georgian Dr. will then be closed, with pedestrians redirected to the west side
  • The northbound Duckworth right lane will also be closed through this section to facilitate the Duckworth road widening, including the new curb and sidewalk
  • These closures will remain in place for four to six weeks

Please exercise caution when driving through the construction zone and reduce your speed accordingly.
