Career and Employment Community Services helps unemployed find work

Looking for work? Georgian College’s Centre for Career and Employment Community Services (CECS) bridges the gap between employers looking for workers and job seekers looking for long-term employment.

“Career and Employment Community Services is a true one-stop shop for employment services and can help unemployed workers gain new skills or knowledge and get the training to achieve their goals,” she says.

In addition to one-on-one guidance with employment services consultants, services include:

  • Full calendar of job search and career decision-making workshops
  • Referrals to community programs
  • Resources such as job search tools and access to fax machines, phones and office equipment
