Postsecondary education is an investment in your future.
Georgian offers awards, scholarships and bursaries to students of all walks of life — domestic, international and Indigenous, full-time and part-time, first years, upcoming graduates and everyone in between. Plus, there are so many other sources of funding available to help you pay your way to graduation. You can afford this!

OSAP
You may be able to get help paying for school through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Loans and grants are based on your calculated financial need. Try the quick OSAP calculator to find out how much you are eligible for.
Bursaries
Bursaries provide aid to students who have qualified for OSAP and need additional assistance. Georgian disburses more than $3 million in bursaries every single year, so it’s worth applying!

Awards and scholarships
Georgian’s awards, scholarships and bursaries aren’t just for students with top grades! Many also consider community involvement, leadership and financial need. Plus, it’s easy to apply online. Our application system even does some of the work for you.
Types of awards and scholarships available:
- Donor-funded entrance awards,
- Automatic entrance awards,
- Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades,
- International Entrance Scholarship, and
- Various external awards.
Some ways we select recipients:
- Demonstrated community involvement,
- Financial need,
- Academic achievements,
- Area of study, and
- Sport and athletics.
Earn while you learn
Many of our programs offer paid co-op. Georgian also offers summer employment programs and part-time Work Study employment opportunities on campus for eligible students with financial need.
