Course description

Every day, the TV or newspaper's front page confronts us with people, places, and issues from around the world. Every story has a background: cultural, religious, political, or economic. Without this background, it is hard to make informed judgements. This subject focuses on the main international news stories.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
