Course description

This course is designed enhance the students’ knowledge from the previous course and apply it to the procedures of a residential real estate transaction. The student will create documents and analyse the steps as they go through a case scenario. They will conduct various searches and create e-reg documents in the Teraview training system. Students will also have a hands on experience using the Conveyancer software to create files, letters and off-title documents.

Prerequisites

(Post Secondary level LAWS 2044 Real Estate Law 1 Minimum Grade of 50
or Post Secondary level LAWS 2056 Real Estate Procedures (ODE) Minimum Grade of 50)

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
