Course description

This subject introduces the student to techniques for training others specifically to implement behaviour change plans (technology transfer). Students will learn and practice techniques for individual and group presentation formats for the training of families or professionals. Students will also learn how to maintain procedural integrity, use performance feedback, evaluate the effects of training, and understand the challenges that may impact before, during and after mediator training.

Post Graduate level BESC 1000 Introduction to ABA (ODE) Minimum Grade of 60
and Post Graduate level BESC 1001 Intro to ASD (ODE) Minimum Grade of 60
and Post Graduate level BESC 1003 Working w/Families/Teams (ODE) Minimum Grade of 60

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
