Course description

In this course, students examine the importance and the fundamentals of music through individual and social experiences. The study of the historical and socio-cultural development of popular music creates a context for an exploration of current issues in the world of music

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
