Intro to ASD (ODE)

This course examines the five major syndromes of the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) including Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Childhood Disintegrative Disorder and Pervasive Developmental Disorder NOS according to their core features and their diagnostic criteria. This course provides an introduction to a neuro-developmental and behavioural understanding of individuals with ASD.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
