International Business (ODE)
This course systematically introduces students to international business. Topics include an overview of international business patterns and social systems and their effect on business in other countries. Students also examine major international business transaction theories, financial forms and institutions that measure and facilitate international transactions, the dynamic interface between nation-states and the firms attempting to conduct foreign business and alternatives to corporate policy and strategy.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
