Course description

Students focus on the importance of offering a variety of play and learning strategies to represent the unique perspectives and experiences of the children within the diverse classroom. Students facilitate a sense of belonging for children and families by creating inclusive learning environments and experiences that reflect the diversity of children in their care. An emphasis will be placed on learning how to adapt experiences for individual children within a group setting. Students research and strategize how to co-design programs which will facilitate inclusive learning and play.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
