Hlth Assessment RPN Refresher

In this combined theory and practice course, Registered Practical Nurses expand their understanding of the holistic health history. Increased competence in performing a physical examination with advanced assessments skills across the lifespan is developed. The significance of assessment findings and effective history taking are reviewed in relation to cultural implications and growth and development stages. Emphasis is placed on normal, age-related changes and abnormal findings are introduced. A student must attain a minimum of 60% or a letter grade of P (Pass) or S (Satisfactory) in this course.
