Human (anthropogenic) impacts on the environment include biophysical environments, biodiversity and natural resources. In this interdisciplinary course, students examine the ways in which humans impact the environment in such areas as technology, the energy industry, manufacturing, mining, transportation, and agriculture examining current theories and events while envisioning future possibilities. Global issues of sustainability are explored in light of complex environmental challenges and uncertainties.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
