Evidence-Based DH Practice

DENT 3005

Students build on basic knowledge of statistics and research methods used in health research. Students examine the use of scientific research in professional practice. Students learn to critically appraise scientific articles and make clinical decisions using an evidence-based process. Students practice disseminating information in writing and orally.

Post Secondary level STAT 2005 Intro to Stats/Research Method Minimum Grade of 50
or Post Secondary level DENT 2030 Intro to Research Methods Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
