Course description
Students learn the fundamentals of C++ through a project‑based approach that builds on their existing programming experience. Students are introduced to C++ syntax, functions, classes, and core object‑oriented principles, including encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. Students design and implement modular applications while using basic pointer concepts only as needed to support OOP. Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
