Course description

Students develop an understanding of the essentials of law governing employment. Focusing on the legal issues relating to employment relationships, students explore how common law and employment legislation impact organizational requirements in the context of human resource management.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
