Program description

The complexity of industry’s labour and entrepreneurial needs requires managers who can work with in a variety of settings and in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams. This program fills that need by providing project management training to candidates who require project management skills to ensure new ventures have potential for successful delivery. The program covers technical, leadership, business, and strategic management subjects with an emphasis on understanding and managing change as applied to project management.

Please note: There are different sections for this program. For the full-time program delivery, one is delivered entirely at the main Barrie Campus and the other is delivered at the downtown Barrie location (5 Ross St.) with Student Services offered at the main campus. The Arch and Helen Brown Design and Digital Arts Centre is located just minutes away from the waterfront. You’ll learn in our fully equipped studios using industry standard tools, and you’ll have the opportunity to network with leaders in your field and real-world clients.

In addition to the part-time online program delivery, there is a part-time in-person delivery of this program starting in May 2024 at Port Elgin (near the Owen Sound Campus). For more information, visit our part-time program page.
