Newcomers to Canada
Tuesday, April 13
5 to 6 p.m.
If you’re a permanent resident or convention refugee, this session is for you. Learn about requirements for admission. We’ll cover documentation and language assessment, as well as WES or ICAS evaluation and EAP options.
Academic services and course materials
Wednesday, April 14
5 to 6 p.m.
Learn how our library and bookstore can help you succeed. We’ll talk about how to order course materials and how to access library resources including computers, tutors, and study supports.
General information session
Tuesday, April 20
5 to 6 p.m.
Connect with our friendly recruiters! This general introduction offers an opportunity to explore programs, learn about financial aid, and ask questions. To attend this session, fill out the RSVP form and we’ll provide you with a link to join.
Co-op and Career Success
Wednesday, April 21
5 to 6 p.m.
Georgian specializes in work-integrated learning (WIL), or on-the-job experience. In this session, find out how co-op consultants can support you as you secure virtual and in-person job placements to meet program requirements.
Thursday, April 22
5 to 6 p.m.
Get involved! The Georgian College Students’ Association (GCSA) runs clubs, events, orientation, and so much more. They also manage athletics, including varsity sports, intramurals and gym facilities. Join this session to plug into campus life.

After attending one of our Get to Know Georgian events, you will be sent a follow-up email where you can sign up for a phone appointment in the days following the event, connecting you with a member of our student recruitment team.
During the call, we’ll be happy to answer any additional questions you may have and support you in applying for free. We can provide you with an OCAS voucher and walk you through the application process.
