Course description

Students examine the role of the personal support worker (PSW) working in community settings and develop an understanding of the community resources available to clients. Students also explore growth and development through the life cycle including sexuality, family dynamics, abuse, home management, interprofessional care, discharge planning and care planning for in home services.
