Course description

Students are placed in an educational or community setting to experience relational practice, and to develop therapeutic programming skills. Students work independently, and as part of a team to plan and implement a variety of competencies to promote child and youth care practice.

Post Secondary level CYWK 1007 Intro to CYC 1 Minimum Grade of 50
and Post Secondary level HUMN 1008 Success in Human Services Minimum Grade of 50
and Post Secondary level HUMN 2004 Interpersonal Skills Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
