Course description

Students cover the basic legal principles and procedures relevant to the practice of estate law in Ontario. They examine estate planning and administration, including testate and intestate succession, estate litigation and relevant statutes. Students prepare various documents and records related to estate planning and administration, and consider ethical issues confronted by the law clerk in this area of law.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
